Here @ The Minnis, the proprietors, management & staff have a common interest: we want our customers and clients to have a great time, in a relaxed atmosphere with creative food and friendly service. We have disabled access.

Located on miles of sandy beach, the restaurant has fantastic views over the Blue-Flag awarded Minnis Bay, the North Sea, and you can see the towers on the fort at Reculver, where the Barnes-Wallace's bouncing-bomb was tested.

In the evening, as the sun-sets, the skies look stunning, with a myriad of colours that have been painted by artists many times over the years, most famously JWM Turner.

We host a range of live music events, in the bar, restaurant, the upstairs dining area
and outside on the green in the summer months.

A vast selection of beverages always available, incuding beers and lagers, cask ales, wines and spirits.

Children are well catered for, and we even hold an annual drawing competition for the kids.

A dedicated take-away service area is also provided for those who wish to have their lunch on the beach, and we are proud that we offer the best Fish & Chips in the area!  And of course no visit to the seaside would be complete without ice cream…..we have a kiosk that is open in the summer months offering an extensive range of ice creams and lollies.
